Support the Campaign

Every contribution is an investment in Pickering's future.

Lawn signs, printing, events, and outreach all carry real costs. Contributions from residents — not corporations or unions — keep this campaign independent.

WHY IT MATTERS

Independent campaigns need independent funding.

Every dollar from a Pickering resident is a vote of confidence that doesn't come with strings attached.

Contribution rules under Ontario's Municipal Elections Act:

• Only individuals normally resident in Ontario may contribute to a municipal candidate. Corporations, trade unions, and contributions from outside Ontario are not permitted.

• The maximum contribution from an individual to a single candidate is set by the Municipal Elections Act and may be adjusted for inflation each election cycle — confirm the current limit with the City of Pickering Clerk's office before contributing.

• Contributions over $100 must be made by cheque, money order, or traceable electronic payment — not cash.

• All contributions and expenses will be publicly disclosed in the candidate's financial statement filed after the election, as required by law.
